$31/hourMaintenance Welder/MechanicMechanics are on-call, which requires the willingness to work unscheduled overtime and off shifts, when necessary.
This position is responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial cement plant equipment.
This is an extremely physical job, requiring 8-12 hours (occasionally more) of strenuous work and the ability to maneuver throughout the plant quickly.
Preferred
Experience:
2
years of trouble shooting, fabrication, assembly, welding, and cutting using sound maintenance practices.
2
years of dismantling, repairing, and reassembling complex mechanical equipment.
2
years of performing proactive/predictive maintenance practices and inspections.
Knowledge of welding and metal working processes.
Required Skills:
Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
Mechanical aptitude (written and welding test required) MIG and stick welding Pay is $31/hour, with permanent placement and benefits package included after successful completion of 60-day evaluation period.
Drug test required prior to employment.
